Iyiyû ayimuwin is just one dialect spoken on the east coast of james bay's norther area. I would suggest that the term Nehirawewin, being the historical form of the word Nehiyawewin, be used as a term that would cover all dialects, otherwise we risk causing confusion. — The previous unsigned comment was posted by 70.82.192.167 on 25 October 2009.

- I don’t know. Extremely rare orthographies like Cree are probably why many Wikipedias that use them are somewhat moribund— nobody knows how to type in them! Dronebogus (talk) 23:04, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
